March Happenings at the Wolkoff Garden

Hello Members!

With Spring arriving this week, and the extra daylight we are all enjoying, it's time to add Thursdays during the week for work detail. Starting this week, Joe Lysik, our expert garden director wants to start putting up the greenhouse on Wednesday (weather permitting). Usually it can take a few days to complete, so on Thursday he will most likely continue. All help is greatly appreciated. If you're able to help out, come on down to the Wolkoff garden. Dress according to the weather.

If you are a New LIDS Member, Spring is a great time to jump in and try your hand at growing Dahlias. Step -by- Step lessons are given every Wednesday, now Thursday & Saturdays at the Wolkoff garden starting at 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Coffee & Cake afterwards. So come on down and bring your spouse or a gardening friend.

Dahlia Tuber & Plant Sales at the Wolkoff Garden

Wednesday, Thursday & Saturdays starting April 3rd, 2024 (Wednesday) at the Wolkoff Garden from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM through June or as long as Tubers last. Started Dahlia Plants will be available for sale when ready, in several weeks.
